This is my first critique. Your use of color and coloring technique is great; I love the bright warm feel. Shading starts out strong--hair looks great, as do the shoes--but the waist looks a bit flat, right leg stocking looks darker, and the circular gradient shading in the middle of the heart pleats seems like an after-thought. Perhaps a moment of over-eagerness to finish occurred at this point? The subject's stance is cute, her weight looks properly distributed through the hips and shoulders, and your choice of accessories and accents detail the work wonderfully. This is a beautiful piece of work for anyone's portfolio, and looks like it could come out of a professional's art book.
