Before you proceed on, please let me warn you this may not be the most appropriate or 'correct' way to cg background with trees or bushes in them. This is just something I like to share with all of you and if you have any questions after that, please post your questions here and I'll try to answer all of them if I can. ^^
The file is big.
And sorry for my poor grammer and spelling mistakes. D:
And as I promised - 30k kiriban thank you gift! xD
This is my first tutorial...
It's pretty short really, and here I assume most of you know at least the very basic tools in Photoshop.
There will be more parts coming up on how to cg sky, water, and all that. Till then, hope everyone could benefit from this. ^^
Impressive, well detailed and very interesting.
And it's quite a measure of the effort you put in your drawings, and the care you always have for people who enjoy your art. It's really a good gift
Ah before I tried using solid dots to do trees but after seeing this tutorial I think I shall make it more of a scralling movement, with various sizes. I hadn't thought about putting in trunks up above, as sometimes when I cg I seem to forget the basics I learned in traditional media. lol I think I'll try more of your way but with more color dulling far away for the atmospheric perspective effect. ^__~ But thankyou, devart needs more cell coloring tutorials ^^
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
